Mrs. Crain graduated cum laude from Austin Peay State University in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in health and human performance, with a concentration in health and a minor in psychology. After earning her bachelor's degree, she enjoyed a career in higher education at her alma mater, where the exposure to lifelong learners inspired her to pursue her interest in the field of law. She graduated with a Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law in 2024.

Mrs. Crain is a lifelong resident of Tennessee and lives in Clarksville with her husband, Dave, their daughter, and their dog, Ellie.
