Greg Patton is a founding partner at Patton & Pittman practicing primarily in the areas of civil litigation, including mediation and arbitration, personal injury, insurance and business disputes, and property claims involving fire loss, water loss and sinkhole cases. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Tennessee. Mr. Patton graduated cum laude from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN in 1988 and received his law degree from the University of Tennessee School of Law in 1991. Mr. Patton is a Rule 31 listed General Civil Mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court and has participated in over a hundred mediations and arbitrations since obtaining his certification in 2004.
Mr. Patton is an active member of the Tennessee and Montgomery County Bar Associations, having served as President of the local bar association during the tornado disaster year of 1999. Mr. Patton recently obtained membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a prestigious organization dedicated to preserve the constitutional vision of equal justice for all Americans and preserve our civil justice system for future generations. Mr. Patton has been awarded a rating of AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Patton and his wife Lisa have two children and live in Clarksville, TN.
